West Elm Wedding Fair

Last Weekend I was a model for the West Elm Wedding Fair in Mission Valley!!! It's always kind of interesting doing Wedding and Bridal fairs and shows, because I am single... I don't have a boyfriend not in any type of relationship and not even close to getting married, but it's nice to dream!!!

The wedding dresses were from Dahlia Bridal. They have a small shop in Point Loma and have some amazing dresses. 

The Wedding Fair was full of vendors and of course there was Cake!!!! It was a fun time!!!

A-list event at Aldo Fashion Valley

Last night (Thursday) I went to an event at Aldo in Fashion Valley Mall. It was hosted by Vanessa Balli, who has a Blog called OOTD. Vanessa is super sweet and I am glad I finally was able to meet her. I have seen her at all different events that I have walked in, but sometimes it's hard to speak to people after a runway show.

Aldo was having a special sale and everyone was able to shop till they dropped (or ran out of money lol).

I didn't do any shopping... I don't think I can fit another shoe in my closet at the moment (need to do some Summer cleaning).

I'm glad I was able to go and hang out!!!

San Diego Style Blogger Meetup!!!!

March 29th I was finally able to make it to a Meetup with the fashion Bloggers in San Diego (@SanDiegoStylebloggers) !!! It was held at C Wonder in Fashion Valley Mall ( it was my first time in the store... it's really nice, you should go and check it out!!). I was really excited, because I am still a new blogger and being able to connect to other bloggers in the same city is always a lot of fun and very inspirational. It was fun to see the bloggers that I have met before, meet new faces, and I got to meet bloggers that I have been following for a while also (super fun!!).

C Wonder has everything all in one place (Clothing, jewelry, accessories and home decor) at an affordable price! I am an accessory Junkie, and they had so many great pieces!! I purchased some great stuff.

Of Course with bloggers there was a lot of Pictures and shopping!!!!

Vixen/ Most Stylish Man!!!!!

Vixen Pop up Boutique and Fashion show is hosting it's 2nd Annual Stylish Man competition in San Diego. Everyone was able to nominate a man that they think is most stylish and we will find out who that person is at the event on April 9th!!! There will be local vendors to shop from as well as a fashion show. I will be in the Fashion show, and it should be a lot of fun :)

Vixen pop up boutique at Bamboo Lounge!!!

Last night I was in the fashion show for Vixen Pop up Boutique. They have an event once a month to show off local vendors, that you can shop from while you are at the event :). In the fashion show we wore clothing from 5 different boutiques (Ooh Fashionista, M boutique, Street Chic, G St. Gypsy and a line of t-shirts (I didn't get the name :/)) There was also an accessory line called Livre' Accessories, and we wore their head pieces (I loved them!!).

Black Friday!!!!

On Black Friday I was part of 2 different fashion Shopping Events for Local Designers in San Diego. I've never been a fan of shopping on Black Friday, and being part of all the madness that happens at all of the Malls. I feel like it gets worse and worse every year.... Sorry side note hehe, but any way it was fun being able to Model for 2 events in 1 day.

The first event was hosted at a Salon in Otay Mall, called Lisse' Xpress. There were different vendors to shop from, a raffle, food and drinks as well. It was a fun laid back shopping event. There was also a mini Fashion show featuring designs by Noia and Dos Caras. I modeled for Dos Caras Swimwear. All of the Models also wore Jewelry from Love Tatum.

The Second event was at Bassmnt, which is a club in Downtown San Diego. I modeled for Noia, and all the models and designers were there to promote their lines to everyone that attended the party that night. Clubs are always an interesting environment to showcase fashion. There are some people that are in to it and for others, it really doesn't matter. All in all it was a fun night :).

Shopping and Charity!!!!!

On Saturday night I was a model for a fashion, shopping and charity event at Body Loft for Zavval! They were raising money for Flying Kites, which is a charity organization where you can sponsor a child in Africa and help them with their day to day needs. The event was pretty intimate, there were cupcakes from Sprinkles, Champagne and a lot of mix and mingle'n. It was pretty cool, because unlike having a regular fashion show on a Runway, (we) the models stood on boxes, and people were able to interact with us and see all of the designs up close. There was lots of opportunity for photos!!!

Zavval's designs are both elegant and edgy, and I loved showcasing her pieces :) ....
