Topshop/Topman Opening In San Diego!!!

Yesterday I went to the Topshop/Topman Opening in San Diego!!! I have seen the brand online, but it's totally different seeing everything in person and being in the actual store! I really like the store and will be going back to shop!!!

The store was so packed!!! I only had time to run in and run out... I had to go to work (that's kind of important), but I had to go take a look!!! :)

Paul Mitchell Fund raiser and Hair Show!!!!!!

Over the past weekend, I was in a hair show. There was a fundraiser for Paul Mitchell School in Costa Mesa and I was asked by a stylist in A Robert Cromeans Salon to be a hair model, and it was a lot of fun. My little sister also was asked to be a hair model as well ( she has never been a model before, so it was pretty exciting for her.), She got to see what it was like to be a model for a day. She had never really seen what goes on behind the scenes, and how a show comes together. The day before the show we had got the color part done at the salon, and did a little prep for the show. On the day of the show we got our hair set and ready for the stage in Costa Mesa, where all of the Cutting and styling took place. I did get my hair cut live on stage, and it is a very different experience than getting it done in a salon. Everyone sees your hair before and then after the cut. I am very brave and had all different things done to my hair, so I don't mind trying something new. I do wear my natural, so I am glad that Ashlea (my stylist) kept it that way. :)

Vixen pop up boutique at Bamboo Lounge!!!

Last night I was in the fashion show for Vixen Pop up Boutique. They have an event once a month to show off local vendors, that you can shop from while you are at the event :). In the fashion show we wore clothing from 5 different boutiques (Ooh Fashionista, M boutique, Street Chic, G St. Gypsy and a line of t-shirts (I didn't get the name :/)) There was also an accessory line called Livre' Accessories, and we wore their head pieces (I loved them!!).

Art Essence : Captivate Cirque De L'artisan!!!!!!!

Over the weekend I was in a fashion show with a New production group in San Diego called Art Essence and their first show was Circus theme. It was more than just a fashion show... There was art, Circus performers, dancers, and it felt like a huge party!! The casting happened for the show before the end of 2013, and there were a million rehearsals from there until the day of the show. The Designers were both local and from other cities (New York and Los Angeles), which was very exciting, because I love working with new people!!

The Day of the show was busy... show prep is always a lot of Hurry up and Wait... but, it is always fun being able to catch up with everyone :)

I had 6 looks in the show.... back stage was very hectic, and I felt like I had ran a marathon at the end of the show. Altogether I felt like the show was good, on the production side I think that it was a learning experience for everyone, and it will only get better! As a model, I feel like the production team needs better communication with each other (be on the same page), and then communicate that to the models... especially on the day of the show.... there were quite a few different directions that were said and models did something different, because that's what they were told from somebody else (minor issue). It was very confusing!!! 

All in all it was a fun experience, and I can't wait to work with everyone again at the next show!!! :)
