Homemade Sugar Body Scrub!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!! For 2015 my goal is to treat myself better, and do more things for myself!! Last year I got rid of my Acne and have been keeping up with my skin care pretty well, and I will continue to share my journey and share products that work for me. I will also share other products that I like.

Recently my mom made a Sugar Body Scrub, and I tried it and loved how it made my skin feel. I Love Natural products, so you know I had to Share!!!! The Scrub is super easy to make and you can add in your favorite oils and scents. The Scrub that my mom made, was Cinnamon, and it seriously smells like fresh baked cookies!!! But, if you don't like the smell of Cinnamon, then you can make it whatever scent you like!! (I know I said that twice... haha)

All you need is:
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Coconut Oil (you can use Almond oil or Olive oil as well)
And add about 10 drops of the Essential oil of your choice
Lastly Stir together and put in a container and it's ready to use!!

It's so simple!

    This is how it looks.... It is brown, because my mom add not just Cinnamon oil, but actual Cinnamon as well. There is also Nutmeg and Vanilla (about a teaspoon of each)

Usually it will look White in color....

They did a Peppermint Oil Sugar Scrub, placed it in Mason Jars decorated them and Sent them as gifts. (Super Cute right!!)

What I love about using the scrub, was because there is Coconut oil in it, it made me feel pretty moisturized before getting out of the shower. I didn't have to use as much Lotion, and my skin felt so soft and smooth. Everyone likes smooth skin right!!!!

Make Up Review: Real Natural Beauty!!!!

I am excited, because this is my first Make Up Review.... Plus I have a Video to go with it!!!! I had the opportunity to meet a local (in San Diego,Ca) Make up line Owner that has a line of all Natural products called Real Natural Beauty! All of the Make up is made with natural oils and Minerals. There aren't any Harsh Chemicals!!! That is something that I was really Happy about, because if you have been following me and have seen my Skin Care posts.... you know I have struggled with Acne and have been going the Natural route with my Skin Care Routine. So using Natural Makeup has been helping my skin to stay clear. Using this Make up in the past couple of weeks, I notice that there is a difference with my skin after I take the make up off. I feel like my skin is able to breathe and it's not so Pore Clogging as other products are.
Another thing that I loved, was the fact that there are multiple Brown Shades in Foundation color.
This Line caters to Women of Color and doesn't have that 1 color that's "Suppose" to work for every shade of Brown.

I received a Lip Stick, Mineral Powder, Concealer and Blush to test out and do a review on.

Exciting Collaborations!!!!

Just wanted to do a quick post about some Exciting Collaborations that I have coming up!!!! I am excited, because it is a little bit of a step from the Model world, and something that I am doing just as ME.

-I will be doing my first Makeup Review on a Make up line (Real Natural Beauty) that I am over the Moon about, because 1. It is made of all natural products (if you have read my skin care posts... you know I love all things Natural!!) and 2. The Line Caters to Women of Color and has multiple Brown shades and Not just that 1 shade that is "suppose" to work for everyone (I often have to buy more than 1 foundation color).

-I am also doing a Day of Beauty at Bellus Academy, and will be doing a review on the multiple services that they provide. Who doesn't love an Amazing Spa Day!!!! Can't wait for the fun filled day of Pampering, and to share with you all about it!!! :)

-Last but not least I will be in a Fashion Episode on a New talk show that is Filming here in San Diego, called Real Women Talk show, talking about Fashion, style and how to make women feel beautiful!!!

Duty Free City Grand Opening!!!

Last Night I went to the Duty Free City Grand Opening in San Ysidro!!! Duty Free City is a new Luxury Shopping destination right near the Mexico/California border that is a one stop shop for all of your Beauty needs. There is also a Cafe, Sweets and Treats area, Kids area, and Wine and Spirits section as well. The grand opening was filled with Live Music, food, free services and Drinks. It was a great time and people came from all over the city to witness the unveiling!!

Opening Day Fashion - Del Mar Races!!!!!

Opening Day Fashion on Fox 5

The Del Mar Races Officially opened on Thursday, and Opening Day is all about Fashion and Big Hats!!! The morning of the races I was in a fashion segment Live in Del Mar on Fox 5. I was in 2 different segments... 1st about Fashion and what to wear with Styling by Dean Hall and the 2nd was about Makeup and Beauty; tips about how to keep your make up looking Flawless all day with Make up artist Christina McLamb.

Fashion and Beauty Event!!!!!

There is an event coming up in April to network with others who are in the Fashion and Beauty industry in San Diego. The event is being held in Point Loma at the Wine Steals. This is the first of many events that is being put together by the San Diego Fashion and Beauty Entrepreneurs Networking Group, and is great for those just getting started in the industry and even those who have been around for a while and want to expand their network!!!!
